Hunter Yeargan - Founder & Owner
Hello! My name is Hunter Yeargan and I am the founder and owner of Yeargan Custom Construction LLC. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always enjoyed carpentry and being creative.
At the age of 16, I started my own lawn care business which is where my interest in entrepreneurship began. I was able to set myself apart due to my work ethic that was rooted in me from the wrestling mat.
After winning the Missouri Class 3 State Championship at Willard High School, I was offered an athletic scholarship to the University of Ohio. There, I was a 4 year starter and was a two time top 5 MAC conference pick and ranked nationally. I graduated in 2020 with a bachelors degree in Construction Management.
After graduation, Yeargan Custom Construction LLC was founded in May of 2020. Starting out, it was a one man operation working on remodels and decks. Fast forward to today, just 2 years after the operation began, we are a multi-million dollar company with a Team of 40 elite carpenters. We have the biggest framing division in Southwest Missouri and continue to rapidly grow.
Our focus is delivering a superior experience to our customers by building quality custom homes. We value our business on integrity, culture and a customer first attitude.
I have to give all the glory to God and thank all of my supporters throughout this journey. I hope you follow along as Yeargan Custom Construction LLC continues to thrive. Welcome to the Team!

Marty Hayes - Foreman
My name is Kevin Lloyd and I have been in the construction industry for 22 years. Most of the time has been framing, but I have also done everything from foundation work to roofing and everything in-between. I have always been interested in construction and being able to take a drawing or a picture and turn it into reality has been a lifelong dream. I have been self employed for several years but when the opportunity came up to work with the best company in SW Missouri I jumped at the chance to join Hunter and Yeargan construction. I am also a cancer survivor and a family man with an amazing wife and 3 wonderful kids.
My earliest memories of building are setting a Ridge with my grandpa at age 9. I started full time in 1985. I was born for this. I have nails in my veins. 37 years and it's never been a job to me - it's my way of life. Going to do it until you bury me. I've built somewhere around 3.000 residential homes and 40 or so commercial jobs. I wouldn't do anything else for a living.
Jim Ballinger - Foreman
I was fortunate enough to be trained by people who took pride in their work. Multi-million dollar home or a dog house -- irrelevant. Do it right every time. Plumb. Level. Square. Straight. It's not just words; it's a lifestyle.
